Object

Object is an application that can create, read, update and delete records in a JSON file.

How to:

1. Open and Close a File

   Navigate File → Open, to open files. File once opened is saved in the local storage until user makes a close command (File → Close).

2. Create a New File

   Navigate File → New. New file will be created to which data can be added.

3. Add New Record/ Object

   There are two options while adding new records. Either to add Key-Value pair or Key-Object pair. Key-Object pair will have a blank object embedded to Key. Click '+' button to add new Key-Value pair or Key-Object pair.

4. Download File

   Navigate File → Download to download the JSON file.

5. Import, Export or Clear Current Path

   Navigate Data to Import data to or Export data from or Clear data in the current path. Data can be imported/ exported as JSON/ CSV. User can also drag and drop CSV/ JSON files to import data.

6. Delete a Record

   Click × button adjacent to a record, to delete that record.

7. Shortcuts

   1. Shift +: Add a Key-Value pair.
   2. Shift *: Add a Key-Object pair.
   3. Shift -: Clear.
   4. Shift Backspace: Back/ Parent Object.
   5. F5: Refresh
   6. F11: Toggle Full-Screen.
